RisikorapportDesigned IMR's Risikorapport platform — admin tools for producing the annual report, and a public site for exploring it by year, map, and production area.
Institute of Marine Research
Since 2010, the Institute of Marine Research has published Risikorapport norsk fiskeoppdrett — an annual assessment of production mortality and environmental effects of Norwegian aquaculture. This project designed the full platform: an admin side where IMR editors track progress, validate data, and edit chapters — and a public site where readers explore each year's report by map and production area.
Value for client
Designed one Risikorapport platform with two connected experiences — an admin foundation for producing the annual report, and a public site for publishing and exploring it.
Admin editorial hub — track chapter and production-area progress across the report cycle, from not started through published.
Separate admin paths for data validation and report editing — QA'd data and chapter content before anything goes live.
Public report site — year archive, map overview of 13 production areas, and traffic-light risk tables for readers.
One platform — admin produces, site publishes
IMR editors assemble Risikorapport each year across shared chapters and 13 production-area assessments. Readers — researchers, management, and industry — need the published output in a form they can explore. The design had to serve both workflows without duplicating complexity.
Editorial admin for IMR staff — and a public report site for management, industry, and researchers
