KBN (Kommunalbanken AS) gives Norwegian municipalities discounted green loans for projects that cut emissions or support climate adaptation. This project designed the web tool municipalities use to assess and compare local climate risk as part of that process.

Conceptualized and designed a web tool for local climate risk measurement, giving municipalities a way to assess and compare climate risk before applying for green loans.
Collaborated closely with environmental experts and financial analysts to keep the data accurate and current.
Designed interactive visualizations and dashboards so non-experts could interpret complex climate data.
Ran usability testing throughout the project and iterated on feedback.
Worked closely with developers to integrate the tool into KBN's existing workflows..

Designed an internal tool that gives KBN's case managers the data and dialogue tools they need to support customers on long-term, sustainable debt management decisions.
Worked with cross-functional teams — developers and financial experts — to integrate real-time data and streamline communication, improving the speed and accuracy of green loan evaluations.
Refined the interface iteratively based on feedback from case managers.
