Value to client
Designed the interface for SFO, giving researchers a way to register species and seabed features in real time — while watching live footage in dark ship cabins where every second counts.
Observed annotators on the G.O. Sars research vessel — small shared cabins, lights off for the live video, and logging that has to keep pace with fast-moving seabed footage.
Designed category-based views for species, litter, human impact, and seabed features, with quick counters and favourites so common observations stay one tap away.
Structured session setup and role-based workflows so multiple annotators can join the same mission with clear responsibilities and shared context.
